The use of higher ground near moorland for intensive farming means grouse are increasingly at risk of death from fence collision. While effective at protecting cattle, sheep and deer, stock fencing can be lethal to low-flying birds.
Fence strike markers effectively combat this problem. Designed, patented and manufactured in Britain to the highest standard, our markers are, bespoke galvanised metal plates which clip easily and neatly on stock fencing and reflect light. Birds are alerted to the danger and encouraged to fly over the fence.
Our markers can not only be fitted to new fences, but can easily be retro fitted to existing fences that may be causing a problem. All that is required is the netting pattern, and we will manufacture the markers to suit.
Our fence markers offer a significant monetary saving over using bamboo or chestnut paling as a method of making fencing more visible labour costs for installation will be greatly reduced and the necessity for back staying of the fence is eliminated.

Sizing your fence markers
The length of the marker is determined by where on the fence the marker is to be fitted. ie between the top wire and the second wire of the netting, between the single strand above the netting and the top line wire of the netting (this size is variable, therefore, marker plates for this application are custom made), or across the top 4 or 5 wires of a deer net. There are 3 standard sizes available ;
152 mm long x 75 mm wide x 1 1/2 folds. Used for marking stock net.
152 mm long x 96 mm wide x 1 1/2 folds. Used for marking stock net.
640 mm long x 52 mm wide x 2 folds. Used for marking deer net.
